Håkon Gullvåg was the first artist to have an exhibition in the newly opened gallery in Guddal in 2014. It is great to have him back in the gallery! He will take part in both assembly and opening. Håkon Gullvåg (b. 1959) was born and raised in Trondheim. At 16 years old, he was enrolled at the Art School in Trondheim (from 1977 the Art Academy in Trondheim). Gullvåg's youth works bear witness to an early mature talent, both formally and in terms of content. He boldly experiments in various directions, both abstract and figurative, but from the end of the 70s the figurative expression becomes dominant.
