Tønes' real name is Frank Tønnesen, and many have referred to him as a Dylan in dialect. And they are right! Tønes is a songwriter of a special class who tells subtle and humorous stories in the sonorous Sokndal dialect. Ticket 550,-

He has won several awards, including the Prøysen Prize, the Dialekt Prize and four Spellemann Prizes. In 2025, Tønes released the album I år gjør me det heilt enkelt – the eleventh in a row! It has been 10 years since he last visited the Poetry Festival and filled the hall to the brim. We are very much looking forward to another meeting!
