Important information about Trolltunga – road closed

Skjeggedal Road, the road leading to the starting point of the Trolltunga hike, is closed due to an acute rockslide risk and ongoing safety work. It is not permitted to travel on the road by car, bicycle, or on foot. Hardanger still has many beautiful hikes and experiences to offer in the area. See here for more information.

No ferry service from Kinsarvik - Utne

No ferry service from Kinsarvik - Utne during the period of June 2nd-15th.

Skyss reports that the ferry MF Kinsarvik, which operates between Kinsarvik - Utne, will be undergoing annual maintenance from June 2nd-15th.

Skyss has not provided a temporary ferry, but instead, the passenger boat MS Øyservice will operate during this period.

The last departure is on June 2nd at 16:05.

The ferry service will resume on the morning of June 15th.

Odda:

Monday - Friday: 9 - 15

Odda tourist information will be located at town hall in 2024.

Address: Opheimsgata 31, 5750 Odda.

Kinsarvik:

Will open for the summer season 6. May.

In May the opening hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 - 17:00. We will be closed on 17. May.

From 3. June until mid-August we will be open all seven days of the week from 10:00 to 17:00

Jondal:

Closed for the season. Will open again Spring/Summer 2024.

Røldal:

Closed for the season. Will open again Spring/Summer 2024.
