When the journey is an attraction in itself

After an adventurous day on the glacier with Folgefonni Glacier Team, you will drive from Folgefonna to Utne. This drive is an attraction in itself. First, you drive Glacier Road down from the glacier, and here, you can experience great contrasts along the short route from the fjord edge to the top of the Folgefonna glacier. These contrasts are something tourists from all over the world marvel at!

When you reach the fjord edge in Jondal, you continue along the Norwegian Scenic Route Hardanger, one of Norway's 18 National Tourist Routes. Here, you drive through untouched nature in a postcard landscape that has inspired great artists throughout the ages. Along the way, you pass farms with tens of thousands of fruit trees, views of spectacular mountains, the Hardangerfjord itself, and idyllic fjord villages. This is one of our favourite routes at Visit Hardangerfjord!
